| The Rocket' hogs offer the following advice for those wishing to park near Mackerel Cove for the duration of the Fireworks Display: |
The Mackerel Cove Beach Parking lot will close at 3:00pm and throughout the duration of the fireworks
display for the safety of all citizens.
Vehicle parking will be available along Hamilton Avenue, Southwest Avenue, Beavertail Road (outside
of the explosive safety zone), and on the Fort Getty Causeway EXCEPT WHERE NO PARKING
SIGNS ARE POSTED, AND IN THE EXPLOSIVE SAFETY ZONE. Please refer to the map below for
more information. Parking at your own risk.
Please note: Vehicle and foot traffic on Beavertail Road will be suspended at 8:45pm until the end of
the display when the Fire Marshal clears the explosive safety zone. Please plan accordingly.
